Accident Investigation
Aims of the Course:
This course will help all employees to learn and develop an increased awareness of safety in the workplace. When used in conjunction with other modules, the course forms part of an integrated programme of managerial and supervisory development. A support to the standard induction programme of any company.
The course will cover:
- The basic types of hazard which cause injuries
- Checklist of factors contributing to Accidents
- Unsafe practices commonly found in the workplace
- Guidelines for the Investigation Team
- The outcome of Accidents
- Investigation Report Form
- Follow up action
- Preparation of Personal Action Plans
Target Audience:
Anyone that works in a factory, office or other workplace that may be involved in the Safety Committee or called upon to help investigate an accident. A good introduction to the subject area for the newly appointed manager, supervisor or safety representative.
This is a knowledge area for every Team Leader, Supervisor and Manager.
